Terms & conditions
The terms, plainly.
Last updated 29 September 2026
These terms govern purchases from Voyage La Lumière, ABN 42 932 976 304, Victoria, Australia (“the house”, “we”). Placing an order means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.
1 — Orders
An order is an offer to buy; it is accepted when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order — for instance where stock has run out or an error is obvious — and if we do, anything you have paid is refunded in full, promptly.
2 — Price and payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout at the time you order. Payment is processed securely by our commerce provider; we never see or store your card details.
3 — Delivery
We ship to the fifteen countries named in the shipping policy. Orders are dispatched within one to two business days, tracked. Delivery estimates, costs and the treatment of import duties are set out in the shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
4 — Returns
All sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, so please choose carefully before you order. This clause does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for goods that are faulty — where a piece is faulty, we repair, replace or refund, and return postage is ours.
United Kingdom and European Union orders. If your order is delivered in the UK or in a member state of the EU, consumer law there gives you the right to cancel within fourteen days of delivery. Tell us within those fourteen days, send the piece back unworn and in original condition within fourteen days of telling us — return postage is yours — and we refund the piece and standard delivery once it reaches us.
5 — Faulty goods
If a piece arrives faulty, or develops a fault in its materials or workmanship, tell us. We will repair, replace or refund it as the Australian Consumer Law provides. Ordinary wear, misuse and water damage to suede are not faults.
6 — Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
7 — Intellectual property
The Voyage la Lumière name, wordmark, photography and the text of this site belong to the house. Buying a piece buys the piece.
8 — Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in this clause limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
9 — Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published when you order is the one that applies to that order.
10 — Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes belong to the courts of that state.
