Privacy policy
What we know,
and what we do with it.
Last updated 29 September 2026
The brand disappears between its appearances, and it prefers your data to do the same. We collect the minimum, keep it only as long as it earns its place, and sell it to no one.
What we collect
- The list. If you join, your email address. Our notes are sent through Klaviyo, our email provider. Once you have joined, Klaviyo also records which pieces you look at, what you place in the cart and whether our notes are opened, so that a note about a piece you left behind reaches you once. Visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Union and Switzerland are asked first, and this runs only if they agree.
- Orders. Your name, delivery address, email and, if you give it, a phone number for the carrier. Payment is handled entirely by our commerce provider; your card details never reach us.
- Your browser. The shop runs on Shopify, our commerce provider. It keeps your cart with a cookie, so what you chose is still there when you come back.
- How the shop is used. Shopify and Google Analytics tell us, in aggregate, how visitors find the shop and move through it: which pages are read, where people arrive from, whether a cart becomes an order. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to do this. Visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Union and Switzerland are asked first, and it runs only if they agree. The cap is also listed in Google Shopping through Google Merchant Center, which receives product details, not details about you.
What we do with it
Order details are used to make, send and support your order — including sharing your delivery address with the carrier, which is the one sharing we cannot avoid. The list is used for one thing: a note when there is something to say. No discounts, no noise, and you can leave with one click or one email.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Ever.
- We run no advertising campaigns that follow you around the web, and we do not sell what the measuring shows.
- We do not send marketing to order emails that never joined the list.
Keeping and deleting
Order records are kept as long as tax and consumer law require, then removed. List addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
Your rights
We handle personal information under Australia's Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can ask at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to the address below and it will be done without ceremony. If you believe we have mishandled your information, you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
